About

THAAL: Teaching Hindi as a Language (हिन्दी शिक्षण एक भाषा के रूप में) is an online platform for the teaching and learning of Hindi. It aims to serve as a hub, which corresponds to the acronym THAAL (थाल), a large plate used in Indian homes to put all food items in one place, for Hindi learners and teachers to various resources on the web. In addition, it will host interesting, innovative and fun-filled Hindi learning and teaching materials (lesson plans, quizzes, puzzles, videos etc.) for beginner to advanced level Hindi students created by Hindi Wizard. Hindi Wizard plans to adapt his training in TESOL while preparing these materials. The site has been designed for the learners who wish to learn Hindi as a second/foreign language. Hence, English is used for most instructions and non-Hindi related posts.
